8.2 PLAYING A SOUND

Press the [TRIG 1–12] keys to play the sounds of the twelve tracks. The [TRIG] keys will briefly light up when pressed.

8.2.1 PLAYING A SOUND USING AN EXTERNAL MIDI DEVICE

The sounds can also be played using an external MIDI device connected to Syntakt. The MIDI channels for of each of the audio tracks can be assigned in the MIDI CHANNELS menu, covered in the section “14.4.3 CHANNELS” on page 77. You can also use an external MIDI unit to play a sound chromatically when you are in KEYBOARD mode. For more information, please see “7.9 KEYBOARD MODE” on page 24.
