# 12.10 FX PAGE 3 (INSERT FX 2/2) 12. AUDIO TRACK PARAMETERS REL Release Time sets the length of the release phase of the amp envelope. This parameter is only available if ENVELOPE MODE in the TRACK SETUP menu is set to ADSR. OVER Overdrive sets the amount of overdrive and clipping distortion of the signal entering the filter. PAN Pan positions the audio of each voice in the stereo field. The knob function is bipolar with 0 being the balanced midpoint, L64 sends all sound to the left channel and R63 sends all sound to the right. VOL Volume sets the volume amount of the amplifier. Unlike the track level (LEV), this parameter can be parameter locked and is saved with the preset. For the Subtracks machine, this parameter sets the amp level for every separate subtrack. Press [TRIG] + [AMP] to access the TRACK SETUP menu and use the ENVELOP MODE setting to select if you want the AMP envelope to be in ADSR or AHD mode. 12.8 FX PAGE 1 (TRACK ROUTING) The FX parameter page 1 contains parameters that sets the routing of the track and the send levels from the track to the Send FX. SND1–3 Send 1–3 sets the amount of sound sent through to Send FX 1–3. For more information, please see “14. SEND FX TRACK PARAMETERS” on page 66. ROUT Routing selects where to route the audio of the selected track. This parameter mirrors the setting in the ROUTING menu. The routing switches for this parameter are shown with “A” in the sound architecture illustrations. For more information, please see “4. TONVERK SOUND ARCHITECTURE” on page 17, and “4.4 THE ROUTING MENU” on page 17. • MIX AB is the default setting and routes the audio to the MIXER and then through the Mix FX to the A/B outputs and the Headphoness. • OUT CD routes the audio directly to the C/D outputs. • OUT EF routes the audio directly to the E/F (HEADPHONES) outputs. • BUS 1–4 routes the audio to Bus 1–4. 12.9 FX PAGE 2 (INSERT FX 1/2) The parameters on the FX page 2 control the audio track’s selected first insert FX machine. Press [FUNC] + [FX] to select FX machine. The parameters vary depending on which FX machine is assigned. AUDIO TRACK PARAMETERS All the voices generated by the track’s SRC machine share the same insert effects. 12.11 THE MODULATION PAGES The MOD pages contain several modulators with their settings: two LFOs for the track parameters, an envelope for the track parameters, and two LFOs for the track’s insert FX parameters. 12.12 MOD PAGE 1 (VOICE LFO 1) The Voice Low-Frequency Oscillator 1 can be used to modulate the track parameters. Customize the low-frequency oscillator behavior, orientation, speed, and depth on this page. This page controls the behav ior of VOICE LFO 1 SPD Speed sets the speed of the LFO. Try settings of 8, 16 or 32 to sync the LFO to straight beats. The knob is bipolar. The LFO cycle can be played backward by using negative values. MULT Multiplier multiplies the SPD parameter by the set factor, either by adjusting the current tempo (BPM settings) or by applying a fixed tempo of 120 BPM. FADE Fade In/Out allows for fading in and out of the LFO modulation. The knob is bipolar. Positive values pro duce a fade-out, while negative values produce a fade-in. 0 gives no fade-in/fade-out. (-64–63) DEST Destination selects the modulation destination for the LFO. Preview how the LFO modulation will affect the sound by highlighting a destination. Press [YES] to confirm the selection. Press [NO] to cancel and revert to previous selection. For more information, please see “APPENDIX B: LFO/MOD ENVELOPE MODULATION DESTINATIONS” on page 113. WAVE Waveform sets the LFO waveform. The Triangle, Sine, Square, Sawtooth, and Random waveforms are bipolar. The Exponential and Ramp are unipolar. SPH Start Phase sets the point within the wave cycle where the LFO will start when it is trigged. 0 makes the LFO start at the beginning of a complete wave cycle, 64 makes it start at the center. A small square at the start of the waveform shows that the wave cycle begins at a zero-crossing. If WAV is set to RND then the SPH parameter changes to SLEW and adds slew to the transitions in the waveform. MODE Trig Mode determines how the LFO behaves when a note is triggered. • FREE is the default free-running mode. It makes the LFO run continuously, never restarting or stopping even if notes are trigged. • TRIG makes the LFO restart when a note is trigged. • HOLD makes the LFO run free in the background, but when a note is trigged, the LFO output level is latched and held still until the next note is trigged.
