SEND FX TRACK PARAMETERS RVEL Repeat velocity sets the velocity curve fade-out and fade-in of the retrig. -1 corresponds to a complete fade out during the set length, -0,5 fades out to half the velocity during the set length, 0 equals a flat velocity curve with no fade, 0.5 fades into half velocity during the set length, and 1 fades in completely to full velocity during the set length. Please note that the effects of the VFAD setting are also dependent on the VEL setting on TRIG PAGE 1. COND (Trig Condition) when you add a conditional lock, COND sets the Trig Condition with which a set of con ditional rules can be applied to any trig, using a conditional parameter lock. For more information, please see “10.10.2 TRIG CONDITIONS AND CONDITIONAL LOCKS” on page 45. 14.3 SRC, FLTR, AMP PAGES These pages show the parameters specific to the Shape machine. The SRC page is empty for the Shape machine. For more information about these parameters, please see “A.2.6 SHAPE” on page 93. 14.4 FX PAGE 1 (TRACK ROUTING) The FX parameter page 1 contains parameters that sets the routing of the track and the amount . ROUT Routing selects where to route the audio from the selected track’s Bus. This parameter mirrors the setting in the ROUTING menu. The routing switches for this parameter are indicated by the letter “C” in the sound architecture illustrations. For more information, please see “4. TONVERK SOUND ARCHITEC TURE” on page 17, and “4.4 THE ROUTING MENU” on page 17. • MIX AB is the default setting and routes the audio to the MIXER and then through the Main FX to the A/B outputs and the Headphones. • OUT CD routes the audio directly to the C/D outputs. • OUT EF routes the audio directly to the E/F (HEADPHONES) outputs. 14.5 FX PAGE 2 (SEND FX) The parameters on the FX page 2 control the track’s selected send FX machine. The FX machines selected on tracks 13–15 are the ones you send sound to from the Audio and Bus tracks using the SND1–3 parame ters. Press [FUNC] + [FX] to select the FX machine. The parameters vary depending on the selected insert FX machine. For more information, please see “A.3 FX MACHINES” on page 98. 14.6 MOD PAGE 1 (LFO 1) The Low-Frequency Oscillator 1 is used to modulate the track’s parameters. Customize the LFO behavior, orientation, speed, and depth on this page. This page controls the behavior of LFO 1. The parameters on this page are the same as on the Audio track’s MOD PAGE 1. For more information, please see “12.12 MOD PAGE 1 (VOICE LFO 1)” on page 59. 14.7 MOD PAGE 2 (LFO 2) The Low-Frequency Oscillator 2 is used to modulate the track’s parameters. Customize the LFO behavior, orientation, speed, and depth on this page. This page controls the behavior of LFO 2. The parameters on this page are the same as on the Audio track’s MOD PAGE 1. For more information, please see “12.12 MOD PAGE 1 (VOICE LFO 1)” on page 59. 15. MIX TRACK PARAMETERS 15. MIX TRACK PARAMETERS The parameters that are available on the Mix track are explained in this chapter. For more information about Mix track, please see “5.3.5 MIX TRACK (TRACK 16)” on page 20. On the Mix track, you have several different settings related to external audio, track mixing, the main effect, and you also have two LFOs as dedicated modulation sources for a number of the track’s parameters. 15.1 EDITING THE MIX TRACK PARAMETERS Press [TRK] + [TRIG 16] to select the Mix track. There are five PARAMETER pages for the Mix track. Press [TRIG], [SRC], [AMP], [FX], and [MOD] to access the tracks PARAMETER page groups. Use the [UP]/ [DOWN] keys to access the parameter group’s pages. You can also press a [PARAMETER PAGE] key re peatedly to cycle through that group’s parameter pages. Press and hold a [PARAMETER PAGE] key to see the values for all parameters on that page. The track parameters can be locked to other settings at any step of the pattern by first pressing and hold ing the [TRIG] key, then adjusting the parameter settings with the DATA ENTRY knobs. For more informa tion, please see “10.10.1 PARAMETER LOCKS” on page 44. If you press [TRIG 16] to select the Mix track without first pressing and holding [TRK], you can still use the [KEYBOARD] to play the previously selected audio track. 15.2 TRIG PAGE Here you set the options for notes that are trigged. This is also where you select trig conditions. Press the [TRIG PARAMETERS] key to access the menu. Change settings using the DATA ENTRY knobs. These general settings affect note trigs placed on the sequencer. NOTE Trig Note sets the pitch of the note when trigged. When in LIVE RECORDING mode and using the [KEY BOARD ] to enter notes, the pitch of the [TRIG] keys played will override this setting. The NOTE parame ter is not available for tracks that have the Subtracks SRC machine assigned. VEL Trig Velocity sets the velocity of the sequencer’s note trigs. LEN Trig Length sets the length of the note trig. In LIVE RECORDING mode, the duration of pressing the [TRIG] keys overrides this general setting. PROB Trig Probability sets the probability that the trigs on the track play or not. The probability outcome is re-evaluated every time a trig is set to play. The default setting is 100%, meaning that all the trigs on the track plays every time. This parameter can be parameter locked which lets you give separate trigs their own probability. RTRG Retrig enables multiple trig repeats on placed trigs. Use DATA ENTRY knob A to turn retrig on/off. For information on setting retrig locks on specific trigs in the sequencer, please see “10.7 RETRIGS” on page 42. RTIM Repeat Time sets the retrig rate. 1/16 is the nominal retrig rate, one trig per step. 1/32 corresponds to two trigs per step and so on. To do triplets, for example, set the retrig rate to 1/12 (or 1/24).
