  1. ComboPress [FUNC] + [FLTR] to open the SETUP menu, then open KIT and select TRACK LAYERING.
  2. PressPress [DOWN] to open the choke setup screen.
  3. ComboUse [FUNC] + [TRK] to select the active track.
  4. PressPress the [TRIG] keys (TRIG_2 shown) of the tracks the active track should choke. A trig on the active track then cuts those tracks off with a very short release, like a closed hi-hat choking an open one.

Result: Trigs on the active track cut off the sound of the chosen tracks, skipping their normal envelope release.
