Concepts
The ideas text alone explains badly — parameter locks, trig conditions, per-track scale, and the 16-track signal flow. Every parameter, page, and condition named below comes from the compiled manual data.
Parameter locks
Click a step to place a trig. Then hold that trig — press and hold it, or switch on HOLD [TRIG] — and move the value knob: that one step keeps its own value while every other step follows the track value. Press ▶ to run the sequencer and watch which value each step plays.
Fades the LFO modulation in or out. Positive values produce a fade-out, negative values a fade-in, 0 gives no fade.
Trig conditions
Click a step to place a trig, then give it a COND and a PROB value. Run four pattern cycles to see which trigs actually fire — a trig plays only when its condition is met, and PROB is rolled after that.
- The manual prints the negated conditions with a bar over the token; they are written NOT … here.
- PROB (Trig Probability) is its own parameter on TRIG PAGE 1, not a COND value. Trigs set below 100% are rolled with the seed shown above, so the same seed always gives the same result.
- PRE / NOT PRE follow the outcome of the last non-PRE trig. The manual states no result before any such trig has been evaluated — this demo treats it as not met.
- NEI / NOT NEI are documented too, but they depend on the neighbor track, which a single-track demo cannot show.
Per-track LENGTH & SCALE
In PER TRACK mode every track keeps its own LENGTH and its own SCALE, so the tracks run over different loop sizes at different speeds — they drift apart and only line up again after a much longer cycle. Give each track a LENGTH and a SCALE, then press ▶ or drag the scrub bar and watch the playheads separate. Switch to PER PATTERN and all tracks fall back onto one length and one scale.

- §10.9 spells out only four SCALE values — 1/8, 3/4, 3/2 and 2 — and never prints the full option list, so only those are offered here.
- One sequencer page (16 steps) is shown per track. §10.9 documents up to 256 steps across 16 pages; on the device [PAGE] changes the total length and the [TRIG] keys set the step count directly.
- Extending LENGTH copies the existing trigs onto the new steps — the rule the manual gives for extending a pattern over more pages.
- SCALE also changes the speed of all LFOs, the delay time settings, the arpeggiator and retrig. A SCALE of 2 raises the base resolution to 32nd notes; 3/4 gives triplets against other instruments at the same BPM.
- The tracks here run free, which is the RESET = INF case: the pattern never restarts them. A finite RESET restarts every track after that many steps, and CHANGE decides how long the pattern plays before a cued or chained pattern takes over.
Click a block to read what it is; click a track, bus or send FX to follow its signal. ROUT picks one destination for that block — the MIXER, an output pair, or one of the four buses — while SND1–3 feed the send FX in parallel. Every destination offered here comes from the ROUT parameter's own option list.
TRK 1–8 are the audio tracks. Each one has two insert effect slots, separate sends to the three send effects, and its own routing destination.
- Routing is primarily done in the ROUTING menu ([FUNC] + [MUTE]); the ROUT parameter on FX PAGE 1 mirrors it. In the menu you can also hold the [TRIG] key(s) of the track(s) and press the [TRIG] key of the destination — OUT CD and OUT EF are [KEYBOARD A] and [KEYBOARD B].
- ROUT and SND1–3 are separate parameters on the same FX PAGE 1: ROUT selects where the block's audio goes, SND1–3 set how much of it is sent to SEND FX 1–3.
- The manual pairs SND1–3 with SEND FX 1–3 and puts the three send FX on TRK 13–15, but never prints which track number is which SEND FX number. This map follows track order (SND1 → TRK 13).
